Project supplier
Steuer Nederland treats every order as equally important, regardless of size. We supply many different material grades, the main ones being stainless steel, super duplex stainless steel and nickel alloys, but we also offer carbon steel in combination with these materials. As a project supplier, we ensure that all documentation is in order when the product is delivered to the customer. This includes everything from material certificates to a comprehensive manufacturing dossier. Our expeditors also play a crucial role in this process, keeping customers informed about the status of their orders and ensuring timely delivery of products to the correct location.
Certification system
The products we have in stock or supply have at least an EN 10204 / 3.1 certificate. All our suppliers are at least ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU approved by European NoBos. Steuer Nederland has a digital certification system, and all certificates are stored digitally for at least ten years. Certificates can be provided in either soft or hard copy.
Inspection options
Steuer Nederland has a warehouse where third-party inspections can be carried out if required. Inspections can be performed either in person or remotely. Several options are available, ranging from visual inspection to non-destructive testing according to project specifications.
Traceabilty
In the steel industry, traceability is crucial. Every Steuer Nederland product is marked and linked to a corresponding certificate, guaranteeing full traceability to certified manufacturers in accordance with ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU standards.
Cutting and remarking
Steuer Nederland is authorized to re-mark products and issue additional certificates. When cutting pipes, we make sure the remaining portion is re-labeled with product information consistent with the original material certificate. We cut pipes up to approximately 300 mm in our own warehouse.
Drawings and strength calculations
Our drawings and strength calculations are made in cooperation with our engineering partners. This service is provided on various projects, especially in the offshore sector, where we supply drawings and strength calculations for specialized products, such as riser pipes that connect subsea pipelines to offshore platforms. These connectors are subject to varying conditions, making precise calculation of their required strength and the selection of the right material essential.
Expediting department
At Steuer Nederland, expediting plays a crucial role in managing material flows and ensuring efficient logistics. Our expediting team serves as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, coordinating and communicating with suppliers, customers and other parties. We place a strong emphasis on the safe and effective shipment of materials. Customers and suppliers are kept constantly informed of delivery dates, and we minimize delays through strict follow-up and coordination with manufacturers and transport providers. Our goal is to ensure that every delivery is timely and safe, reinforcing our reputation for reliability and efficiency.
Quality assurance
Steuer Nederland is ISO 9001:2015 certified, which guarantees the quality of our processes, products and services. All incoming materials are thoroughly inspected in accordance with our procedures, and all our manufacturers are at least ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU certified. We have maintained reliable partnerships with all our manufacturers since 1978. We conduct regular audits to ensure consistent quality standards, and any incidents are promptly reported and documented.
