Every project starts with an inquiry. Steuer Nederland assesses the sender and project type. Whether the project is already fully defined or still in the budget phase, we offer tailored advice on technical aspects and material qualities that best meet your needs.Order
Once you have made your choice, we may schedule a follow-up to address any questions. Having chosen Steuer Nederland, we immediately put together a team to start working for you. It consists of a sales representative, an expeditor to handle order fulfillment and, if necessary, a document controller for project-specific documentation and certifications. It will immediately start working on the project, placing orders, reviewing documents and even setting up a kick-off meeting at your location to draw up a timeline.Total solution
As production begins, we maintain close contact with our manufacturers to ensure quality and timely delivery. This may include site visits if necessary. Certification and approval
Steuer Nederland is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
This certificate not only applies to the materials we supply, but in particular it guarantees the quality of action within Steuer Nederland. To serve you even better, we also have a 'Certificate of Remarking Materials' issued by Lloyd's Register.
Added value
Project supplier
Steuer Nederland devotes the same level of focus to every order, supplying various material grades such as stainless steel, (super) duplex , nickel alloys and carbon steel. As a project supplier, we provide complete documentation and customer information, with a focus on timely and accurate delivery.
Certification system
Steuer Nederland supplies its products from stock or ex-factory with at least EN 10204/3.1 certification. Our manufacturers are ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU certified by an EU NoBo . Our digital certificate system will remain available for at least ten years.
Inspection options
Steuer Nederland has a warehouse where third-party inspections can be carried out if required. Inspections can be performed either in person or remotely. Several options are available, including visual inspection and non-destructive testing according to project specifications.
Traceabilty
Traceability is crucial in the steel industry. Every product is marked and linked to a corresponding certificate, ensuring full traceability to certified manufacturers per ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU standards.
Cutting and remarking
Steuer Nederland is authorized to remark and issue additional certificates. When cutting pipes, we make sure the remaining portion is re-labeled with product information consistent with the original material certificate. We cut pipes up to approximately 300 mm in our own warehouse.
Drawings and strength calculations
Steuer Nederland works with engineering partners to produce drawings and strength calculations, especially for the offshore sector. They provide calculations for products such as pipelines connected to drilling rigs, focusing on strength and material selection for varying conditions.
Expediting department
The expediting department at Steuer Nederland coordinates the flow of materials and is the central point of contact. The department works with suppliers for safe shipping, informs customers and suppliers of delivery dates and minimizes delays through strict monitoring of manufacturers and carriers.
Quality assurance
Steuer Nederland is ISO 9001:2015 certified and ensures quality in trade, products and service. Upon arrival, we subject all materials to a comprehensive inspection. We have been working with our manufacturers since 1978, and they are at least ISO 9001 and PED 2014/68/EU certified.
