Steuer Nederland supplies products for industries including offshore, chemicals and petrochemicals, energy and machinery manufacturing. 1978, Piping Service Steuer Nederland founded by Lothar Steuer.
While our sister company Piping Service Steuer Handelsgesellschaft GmbH in Ratekau was primarily focused on selling carbon steel pipes, fittings and flanges in Germany and Eastern Europe, Steuer Nederland specialized in stainless steel pipes, fittings and flanges. Those services were not limited to the Dutch market but also extended to international markets worldwide.
1982, Steuer Nederland established in Sliedrecht.
From our location in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, we grew to become a globally recognized and reliable partner for numerous customers.
1995, Steuer Nederland awarded the ISO 9001 (LRQA) quality mark.
In the early years, our focus was mainly on selling stock items and fixed contracts for basic goods. However, in recent decades, we have built a strong reputation in the Netherlands as a project supplier, excelling in 'challenging' materials that meet specific specifications and standards.
2005/2006, shift to project-based work.
Starting in 2005/2006, we gradually shifted our focus to project-based work, delivering custom-made products. Although we were still distributors, our efforts were increasingly directed toward delivering projects in accordance with our customers' specific requirements.
2018, through a management buyout, the company became wholly Dutch-owned.
With this acquisition, the new owners, Roland Florisson and Richard de Jong, both with decades of industry experience, ensured the continuity and expertise of Steuer Nederland for the future.
